About The Expert:
Sumit is an Indian filmmaker, best known as the lead writer and editor of Sony Liv’s critically acclaimed “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story,” directed by Hansal Mehta. A BAFTA Breakthrough Program India edition selectee, Sumit also co-wrote “Bangistan” and Amazon Prime Video’s “Inside Edge,” produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. He worked on both seasons of “Inside Edge.” An Art History and Aesthetics graduate from MSU, Baroda, his first screenplay was for “Nandu ka Raja” and his documentary “I Woke Up One Morning & Found Myself Famous” was widely screened in India.
