Day 1: The Story Phase

Day 2: The Script Phase

On Day 2, we transition from ideas to execution. You’ll learn how to shape your story using proven frameworks that bring structure and emotional depth to your script.
• Understanding the 3-act structure
• Developing strong character arcs
• Scene layout and scripting basics
• Writing a compelling opening scene

Task for next session:
Participants will write an opening scene or the first two scenes of their short film to be shared and reviewed in the next class.

Day 3: The Rewriting Phase

Writing is rewriting—and on Day 3, we’ll dig into how to improve, polish, and prepare your script for the next stage of its journey.
