Cinematographer

Anay Om Goswamy ISC is an accomplished Indian cinematographer with a career spanning over a decade and a half. His journey began with a Fine Art degree majoring in Photography, sparking his passion for cinema. Pursuing his dream, he earned a Masters in Film making with a specialization in Cinematography at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

Anay’s early aesthetic influences were deeply impacted by his artistically blessed father and his Uncle, the internationally renowned, art historian and critic- the Late Dr. B.N. Goswamy.

Anay’s contributions to films like “The Japanese Wife,” “Kai Po Che,” “Fitoor,” “Mom,” “Super 30,” “Shamshera,” and “Tiger 3” have earned him prestigious accolades, including the Screen Award for Best Cinematography for “Fitoor” and numerous nominations in Filmfare and Zee Cine Awards.

Recognized for his integrity, soulful approach, aesthetic strengths, technical expertise, and dedication, Anay has received honors such as the Digital Studio Award for Contribution and Excellence in Cinematography.
As an esteemed member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers, he continues to inspire aspiring filmmakers with his vision. Anay’s unique achievements also include being the sole Indian cinematographer featured in RED USA’s acclaimed series, “Behind the Look.”
